Here's a link I use often to help me decide on how to combine gear effectively based on what many people think is Best In Slot (BIS) for warrior tanks.
I agree, as do many warrior tanks, that you should have various combinations of sets. I'm still optimizing my sets and play with them almost every day. I think it's a good mental exercise that helps you understand how to socket, enchant, and better equip gear.

My shop teacher always said "hey stupid! knock it off!".
Okay, he also said "hey stupid! get the right tool for the job for once!". Our gear is like a tool. Used properly, we can be more successful... and avoid looking stupid I hope. Man, I hope that shop teacher got his come-uppance!
