Bah. So, your beloved Smurfy is out of commission for a while--lost my authenticator and, if I can't find it in my apartment, it's likely it got trashed... which means I get to figure out what to do when THAT happens. Sadface.

Your best bet if you can't find it is the original CD key from your vanilla installation.
Also, a note for EVERYONE else, if you use one of the key chain style authenticators, record the serial number on the back of it somewhere safe.
Good luck on the hunt, Smurfy.

^^ Yes, always record the mobile or keychain auth serial numbers. Having that info will help expedite recovery of your account when dealing with Blizz customer service.

okay--I got in contact with the good folks at Blizz and my authenticator is getting deactivated soon-ish--which means Smurfy's back in business! Won't be available much this weekend anyway, though... got some big plans for Valentine's.
