So. This is my official post. I'm calling you all out.

As Santa and I have mentioned before, we're striking (given, half-assedly, but still) and we ain't gonna heal no mo'!

I've already put my resto spec into a dark, dank corner on my shammy, and I'm very, very close to retiring my priest.

I know Khazooie's been working hard to get us new members--but this is my way of saying that if you haven't considered taking over a healing and/or tanking spot on raids occasionally--DO IT NOW.

I understand that it's not everyone's cuppa, but I want people like Santa, Ribbs, Kor, Khazooie, Dalrus, Darky, Exo, and myself (not to mention our other fearless healbots and tankbots) to be FORCED to take dps spots in raids every once in a while.

Hell, I'll sit on my ass and twiddle my thumbs if we have enough healers without me!

I will help every damned priest and shammy with theory-crafting, spec-building, gearing, glyphing, and rotation talks if it means people will seriously consider healing. Hell, I'll take my holy pally seriously and help people with that too (if Kor and Darky aren't feeling like it). And I'm sure that Dalrus, Ribbs, and Exo would be willing to help out the druids of the world in learning the magic of treehugging or whatever it is.


All of this condensed into a nutshell...

START HEALING DAMN YOU.

I understand your frustration and I am sorry that you two feel bad about healing in raids. I feel like this is somewhat directed at me as well. I have tried healing on my priest a few times wtith friends and failed terribly at it because , I am in dps mode. It just isn't something I am good at. And yes maybe down the road after spending countless hours trying I might who knows. The warlock is what I am good at and I love it. I apologize to you two for that and will step down my dps spot to either of you. I can fill in where necessary if needed. People know how to get ahold of me. I am truly sorry you two are unhappy with it all. Thank you for your honesty, I am sure eveyrone appreciates it. <3

Alright, gotta put my two cents in here! i understand yall are getting fed up with healing but a complete strike isnt the way to go, it will just put us back to where we were a few weeks ago, not raiding but i do recommend you cut back on the raid healing, ill even set up a raid as you 2 as deeps cause we have accumulated some more healers over the past week, although not nearly as good as you 2 but they are still healers. with Exo running with us more and the very versatile Dark and Dal we can almost get two groups going but were not quite at that point, so all i ask is that you stick it out just a tad bit longer!!! let me get some more mans and then go on strike! just please hold off a wee bit longer so we can keep raiding and making progress!!!

Okay--this isn't a real strike. This is me saying that people need to at least be open to trying to do more. I know that not everyone is going to be healing or tanking, but--plain and simple--I'm getting really burnt out with healing--one, because I can't do shit to help or hinder progress in raids at this point--there's no Dreamwalker that's dependent on my healing--two, because healing in Cata makes me feel like sisyphus.

Anywho, I'm still going to raid and do whatever I can to help out with our progression--I'm not really striking--but at this point my game time is expiring in May and I may or may not be playing after that point.

So it's kinda imperative that more people get involved in healing.
