Tell us a little about yourself: I'm a mechanical engineer who enjoys his weekends, so I'm looking for weekday raiding that doesn't go too late.
What is your raid experience in past expansions (Vanilla, TBC, Wotlk)? I've only done Kara and gruul's in BC, but I've done everything in Wotlk. No vanilla experience QQ.
What is your raid experience in current content (Firelands)? I've killed 4/7 and have tanked beth'tilac (don't ask why I haven't killed her, it doesn't make sense to me either)
Group 1 raids 3 nights a week, Mon Tues Thurs 8-11 and Group 2 raids 2 nights a week, Wed Fri 8-11. Can you make the raid times for 1 of these groups? I can do group 1 any day, and group 2 on wednesday only. I can't/won't commit to raids on the weekend.
What is your favorite raid encounter and why? Ulduar, it was challanging, full of interesting bosses/content, and just felt like an experience, instead of a lootshop.
What is the hardest raid encounter you have seen and what made it so difficult? Ulduar, because it was hard to find other people willing to devote the time and effort to the more difficult raid encounter.
What items do you bring to raid for yourself (ie. Food,Flasks,Potions)? I can bring whatever is needed of me. I generally don't pot, but for progression I could make an exception.
We do require 2 addons, being Omen3 and DeadlyBossMods, do you have both of these addons? Yes.
Do you have a working Mic and the ability to use it? Yes.
Please list your past/present guild(s) and why you left or are leaving? I want to experience new content with people who aren't going to waste my time by being bad.
Do you know anyone in Revolution? None I can think of off the top of my head. Maybe you guys know me? I tend to troll trade...
Why do you want to join Revolution? You guys seem pretty focused and I really like your idea of letting skill decide who raids.
Anything else you think we should know? I've got plenty of other toons: Blackrocrag, Purplesanta, Deadsanta, Anothersanta. I've done most fights from all roles. This helps me make things easier on healers/tanks as a DPS. Also, I know my gear is terrible, but given the chance, you'll see that I can remain competitive with many people of higher gear levels.

Thanks for allowing me the chance to speak on the forums.

Sanctum Solare had been my home in WoW since I began playing, it was the first, and only guild I have ever been in (with the exception of a server transfer, to play with my college roommate, and best friend). The above post is indeed my application to another guild, on my rogue. It was not my intention to move all of my characters, but they were all removed for me. I had wished to continue to be a part of the guild, but that won't happen now.

From what I've read, many of you are upset about what I said in the application. While I can't say that I understand why some are so mad, its evident from this that some people take this game far more seriously than I thought. My comment on the application was a product of the growing frustration of a lack of progress, and perceived effort by many in the guild. I'm not making an excuse, only providing reasoning for what I said. Had I known that the application would have been snooped, and posted anonymously on these forums, I probably would have chosen my words more carefully, but in the end my reasoning is still the same.

With that said, I apologize to those that I hurt, and am fine if you hate me.

I'd like to thank you all for providing me with a fun, social atmosphere, and making this game much, much more enjoyable. Its a shame we had to part ways like this, but I hope you can all remember me for my awesome trade trolling, and excellent ascii art. While I now serve under a different banner, I am certain that in the future the winds of fate will bring us together once again, so that we may clash swords, as allies, or enemies in the fields if battle. (that little bit of RP was for seilo)

Being a bit of a nut, I decided to take the highlighted paragraph much differently than most. The way I read it was:

I'm leaving my guild so I can become a better raider. You guys better not suck since I don't wanna waste my time playing with people playing badly (a reference to the upcoming guild, not Sanctum).

Granted, once the drama began, I became aware of the second interpretation as well. However, I still like my original take on things, since I still see you as a good man. You're always welcome in my world!

Sanity, it's just such a huge waste of time...
