Ok, it has been brought to my understanding that the Hit-Cap for Melee DPS is around +8% chance to hit.
Anyone know the EXACT number that Hit Rating needs to be to achieve +8% chance to hit?
Also, was just wondering what else does hit rating actually affect besides chance to hit?

Rogue soft hit cap is like 300 hit rating(actual hit cap is like 755), i know 1-handed melee is lower, but +hit is the most important stat (above all else) BEFORE you are capped. After that its useless...
Hit cap differs also whether you are dual wielding, titan's grip, have certain talents, etc.
Upon research: For a ret pally hitcap is 295 (for 9%) and id assume around 260 for 8&
for dual wield warriors, I'd assume your hit cap is somewhere around 300 (which is the "soft" hit cap for rogues)
